MANAGED SERVICE PROVIDERS: MANAGED SERVICE PROVIDERS FOR REAL ESTATE INDUSTRY

The number of businesses vying for office or factory space depends on the size of the area as well as the economic health of the community in question. A small town with limited resources is not likely to have people clawing each other out of the way to get the prime business locations. A commercial real estate agent must be able to gauge the interest of the target audience as well as the other factors of the market to close a deal. No matter how tepid the economy has become, there has to be ways to manage the sales and trump their competition. The tougher the market, the harder the agent will have to work to get that business into the office building that they manage. One of the key ways of doing that is by offering a service that the other agents in town cannot.

All businesses will need some level of communications and technology, regardless of their current size or what they offer by way of product or service. However, most of them would prefer not to have to add in the time and expense of purchasing and installing this technology on top of the costs of moving to a new location in the first place. A commercial real estate agent who has partnered with managed service providers can eliminate a lot of this expense right from the very start. This mutually beneficial arrangement works on a number of levels.

Lowered Overhead, Potential Virtualization

The company who has just moved into a new office will have start up costs, including getting the utilities up and running as well as the cost of just moving their furniture, files and other items from Point A to Point B. The advantage of not having to pay for the installation and set up of their IT services can be huge. Moving into an office building that is already set up and ready to go can be the deal sealer in many cases.

Many companies are not concerned about the today as much as they are about the tomorrow- they plan to expand and grow after all. Will the building they are moving into today be able to keep up with their growth down the road?  The ability to set up virtual networks that can expand a business’s technical size but not their physical space can be the problem solver that they are looking for. Allowing some of their staff to work from home based offices can solve not only the problem of space but other personnel issues as well. In addition, the virtual network is more cost effective in the long run, leading to bigger profits, a stronger bottom line and a stronger company.

The commercial real estate agent that can add their partnership with managed service providers will be the one with the biggest edge in the competitive field, allowing them to build a reputation of stellar service and cost effective solutions for their growing business.
